I have worked with one to one clients in personal therapy since 2007. In addition to my private clinical work I have worked in the NHS, local authority employee support, private sector companies offering psychological support, and low cost counselling programmes. I am familiar with many day and boarding schools, primarily in London and the home counties, working either directly with them or with young people who attend them. I have current and past experience as a school governor, responsible for safeguarding and mental health. I am experienced in dealing with and working with other professionals in the London area such as psychiatrists, GPs and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). I also have an extensive background in corporate work dealing with stress and emotional support for employees.
I have a doctorate in Counselling Psychology (PsychD, 2013). I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS), and regulated by the Health and Caring Professions Council (HCPC). I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I am approved as a psychologist or psychological therapist by most of the major health insurance companies.
I am on the British Psychological Society Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors and I offer supervision to psychologists and psychotherapists.
Prior to becoming a psychologist, I worked for many years in the finance industry. I also held non-executive board seats in investee companies, working closely with management and staff.
